About IPOs in India
An Initial Public Offering (IPO) is the process where a private company offers its shares to the public for the first time, allowing it to raise capital from public investors. Once the IPO process is complete, the company's shares are listed on one or more stock exchanges (like BSE or NSE) and can be freely traded by investors.
