FAQs - IPO Timetable

The IPO Timetable, or timeline, shows the key dates for an Initial Public Offering. This includes the subscription opening and closing dates, the date when share allotment is finalized, and the date the stock lists on the exchange for trading.

The Allotment Date is when the registrar finalizes who gets how many shares. If the IPO is oversubscribed, this is the date the lottery or proportional allotment is completed. Refunds for non-allottees are typically initiated after this date.

The Listing Date is the official day the company's shares are available for buying and selling on the stock exchanges (like BSE and NSE) for the first time. This is when public trading begins.

Companies provide an expected (tentative) schedule in their initial documents (DRHP). These dates can sometimes change slightly based on final approvals from SEBI, exchange procedures, or bank holidays. Always check the final RHP document for confirmed dates.

IPO timetable data is sourced from exchange filings and public announcements and is subject to change. Figures are indicative and provided for informational purposes only. Investment decisions should be based on thorough research of the prospectus.
